Carelink Home Care Inc. is owned and managed by Obianuju Obi. JuwJuw, as she is fondly called, has extensive years in nursing, first as a caregiver for 5 years and a Registered nurse for 7 years. Her experience, as well as her Masters’s degree in Business Administration (MBA), brings an infusion of knowledge/skills in both business and the healthcare industry for Carelink to operate successfully. JuwJuw has always been interested in making a difference in the community and the opportunity came with the inception of the COVID-19 pandemic. Based on her experience working in nursing homes, more than 70 percent of individuals report they want to remain at home as they age and out of institutions like hospitals or long-term care facilities.
The need for senior citizens as well as non-seniors to remain at home in their comfort has increased, which is where Carelink Home Care comes in as a local care provider in Victoria.
Carelink Home Care offers non-medical in-home care for seniors, with packages suitable to all families caring for their loved ones. The services we offer are comprehensive and customized for every individual. Services include and are not limited to;
We make it a priority to conduct a high degree of professionalism, compassion, tolerance, and commitment in every one of our services. We firmly believe that every individual deserves to receive the appropriate care and treatment to help them manage their conditions so they can live their lives independently and comfortably.
Promoting Independence
For many patients who are passionate and driven about living their lives independently, the notion of receiving care from another can be difficult for them to accept. We understand the frustration but tenderly reassuring your loved ones that rely on a home care provider doesn’t mean they lose their independence. We only endeavor to be a safety net that they can rely on when certain tasks become difficult to manage.
Building Rapport
We take the extra step in providing care that is built upon love and mutual respect for one another. We care for your loved ones the same way we would for our family members. Treating them kindly and patiently engaging with them.
Supporting the Family
We are aware of the struggles and difficulties many families face as they cope with their loved one’s conditions. Not every family member is a trained and licensed medical professional that is why it is normal for any family caregiver to be overwhelmed and frustrated. We provide support and counseling, helping family members better understand what their loved one is going through.
